Detail is the first word that comes to mind when I think of John Emrys. When John first contacted me, it was about details.

For centuries, the female form has been drawn, painted, photographed, celebrated and worshipped.

I left things up to John; I had my body to worry about.


Long ago, women commissioned painters to capture their feminine essence; lately,
we’ve been enjoying John Emrys.

Being photographed by John...

...was not just about the pictures produced in the end. It was an affirming experience in and of itself.
